Ceramics and Mixed Media

"What color are your Mondays?", explores the synthetic experience through the physical and 3-D art-form of ceramics. Synesthesia is a perceptual phenomenon in which stimulation of one sensory or cognitive pathway leads to involuntary experiences in a second sensory or cognitive pathway. This exhibition highlights several emotions and sensations that are intertwined with visual and spatial interpretation through the phenomenon that is synesthesia. The artist explores concepts such as time, pain, love, and anger and expresses their synesthetic experience through clay.
