Off-Campus Reservation Request for Outdoor Space

This form is intended for non-University organizations or groups who are requesting an Outdoor Space for tabling.

Although not required, it is recommended that persons schedule space for an informational booth in outdoor space to ensure adequate accommodations.

This form is NOT for Texas State University registered student organizations and departments. TXST groups must submit their outdoor space reservations request via Mazevo System


This form is not for tabling that includes solicitation. 
Informational booths cannot be used for solicitation. Solicitation means the sale or offer for sale of any property, goods, products, or services, including the distribution of literature to promote a commercial message; or the receipt of or request for any gift or contribution.

If you are a business, group, or vendor seeking to solicit on the Texas State University San Marcos and/or Round Rock Campuses, then review the Co-Sponsorship of Vendor section of the On-Campus Solicitation webpage. All non-University business, vendors, or groups must be co-sponsored by a University department in order to access campus.


This form is not for tabling that includes employment activities.
Organizations seeking to host employment activities should contact LBJSC Event Services to initiate a correspondence with Career Services.

Your organization/group must provide an approved Temporary Food Establishment Permit at least 10 days prior to date(s) requested.
Failure to provide approved TFE permit will result in ability to serve food and/or beverage.

Electioneering

  1. During the time a polling place on campus is open for voting, a person may not electioneer for or against any candidate, measure, or political party within 100 feet of an outside door through which a voter may enter the building where the polling place is located (Election Code § 85.036).       
  2. Amplified sound is NOT allowed in the Quad.     
  3. LBJ Student Center Mall, LBJ Student Center Bus Loop, Quad, Bobcat Trail, and area near Encino Hall are the only designated areas for signs.
  4. Must provide your own tables, chairs, and signage.   
  5. Electioneers/organizations must adhere to parking policies set forth by Parking Services at 512‐245‐2887.
  6. The Electioneers/organizations will restore area to its proper state each night, such as removing refuse and signs left from its operation. Tents may NOT be left overnight.      
  7. All policies and procedures have been read and understood. All forms, policies, and procedures are subject to change and may be found on Student Involvement & Engagement's website.
